Your final wishes

We recognise that when a person dies, it can be an extremely overwhelming time. We also recognise that not everyone has someone to make the appropriate arrangements. Our Rest Assured service has been set up to take care of everything from registering the death, making funeral arrangements, protecting property and notifying utility companies – bringing peace of mind.
We ensure that all arrangements are made in accordance with the deceased’s wishes and their affairs are handled with dignity and respect.

Rest Assured

Fixed fee: £1.000 +vat

Contacting friends and family to let them know of death

Liaising with undertakers and care home / hospital for removal of body and personal belongings

Liaising with coroners office*

Sourcing registration details via background checks and property attendance for documents and details of friends and family

Attending property to safeguard documents and valuables and to secure property

Attending registrar to register death in person

Obtaining death certificates

Completing ‘Tell Us Once’ to notify pensions, DWP, local authority and utility companies

Dealing with funeral plans and liaising with providers and undertakers as required

Arranging funeral**

Obtaining photographs and music choices/poetry for order of service

Booking service date and liaising with relatives and friends as well as crematorium or church

Adhering to client wishes regarding cremation or burial and type of service

Attending at funeral

Putting together package of information on assets. liabilities, Will and family information for probate solicitors

Attending with probate solicitors for handover and dealing with any queries thereafter

£1,500 +vat

The full Rest Assured Package, plus:

Attending property

Changing property insurance to unoccupied**

Returning equipment – e.g. NRS equipment, Careline etc.

Arranging remedial work with tradespeople before end of tenancy or marketing* **

Arranging clearance and cleaning **

Obtaining valuations* **

Changing locks and or fitting key safe* **

Dealing with any insurance requirements such as heating/drainage of water system etc

Rehoming of pets*

Dealing with end of tenancy

Handing back keys to landlord*

Arranging SORN for vehicle and cancelling insurance*
